My Project

This lesson is designed to engage students in understanding mental health, stress management, and self-awareness while leveraging wearable technology as a practical tool. The focus is on active learning, reflection, and real-world application, suitable for a 50-minute class period. This lesson blends technology with mental health education, making it interactive and relevant for high school students. It teaches them to recognize stress signals, use tools for self-monitoring, and develop coping strategies—skills they can carry beyond the classroom. The use of the Apple Watch to monitor heart rate (a "beat"), and the proactive approach to managing stress.
