Beat the Heat!

My Project

I teach at a school where most of the students are low income. Parents can't afford to pay for field trips, however we, as their teachers, still long for them to experience a field trip.

Considering that most parents cannot afford a field trip, my colleagues and I have decided to take our class to the park, just so they can experience riding on a bus and going on a field trip.

Going to the park is free, however we are concerned about keeping our students hydrated while there.

Temperatures this time of the year in Texas are increasing. We want to make sure our students have a memorable time, but we know that will be hard if they are hot, miserable, and thirsty at the park. With your donation, not only are you helping our students "Beat the Heat," but you are helping create life long memories for these young learners as well!
