My Project
I have been teaching special education for 18 years. Something that I have learned along this journey is that no two students have the same needs. This school year my students are in need of flexible seating and sensory resources. My classroom team and I have been working tirelessly to provide the most effective learning environment for our students.
Flexible classrooms give students a choice in what kind of learning space works best for them.
A flexible classroom empowers students to stay engaged in classroom activities. My goal as a special education teacher is to create an environment where my students' needs are met and they feel safe.
