Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year students in the Saturday Theatre Enrichment Program will perform Disney's Beauty and the Beast Jr! They have been working hard rehearsing and creating magic as an ensemble to bring this captivating story to life. My students are not only performing on stage but they are designing every technical element as well.

This is our first full-length musical without any health restrictions since May 2019 and my goal as their theatre teacher and director is to give them an authentic theatrical experience.

The items on this list will help build the costumes for this show and help the students embrace their characters but also help their technical journey throughout the musical in exciting and innovative ways.
