My Project

Use of stackable recycling bins and waste baskets would be helpful for my students as we work to build their vocational skills. As a special education teacher, my classroom consists of six students with varying abilities. Recycling is a functional activity that is also engaging. Students will not only develop fine motor skills but also matching, counting, reading and organizational skills.

One of our classroom jobs is to recycle.

Having these materials will help support students in sorting recyclable items in preparation for our trips to a local recycling center.
