Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I work in the South Bronx with mostly shelter and low-income families. Most of my students are in Kindergarten and have a disability. My students need a lot of social and emotional support. These are students with special needs that can benefit from a clean classroom.

At my school, teachers and students are committed to learning despite the many challenges we face due to funding and other inequalities in our system.

I love that my students are communicative and enthusiastic learners. What makes them special is that they have a lot of energy and are always looking for a fun way to learn.

Some of my students have autism and ADHD.

My Project

These materials will be used to maintain a clean environment for my students and will help to prevent my students getting sick and spreading germs to others. The project includes sanitizers, masks, wipes, and paper towels.

Please help me minimize the spread of germs.

My students are curious young learners. They need frequent mask breaks and hand hygiene in school. The most important benefit of a clean classroom is that it maximizes the learning experience of the students.

By donating to my project you will help me prevent the spread of germs during this pandemic. My students deserve a clean environment to learn.
