This year, our 6th graders are gearing up to compete in the district-wide Battle of the Books against 11 other middle schools. Our students are passionate readers who take this contest seriously and are eager to give it their all. To help them succeed, we need to provide them with the required books to prepare, including important titles about immigration that reflect diverse experiences and foster empathy.
Your donation will give our students access to these valuable books, allowing them to read, analyze, and discuss important themes like immigration while also preparing to make this a winning year.
