My Project

We are just ending our Battle of the Books season this year with an impressive competition and excitement for next year! Our Battle of the Books team is already excited to begin preparing. The titles for 25-26 have been announced and students would like to start reading. The only problem? We have very few of the books.

Our students also have a fabulous idea: ask staff members to compete against them!

The students have been spreading the word that they would like teachers to also read Battle of the Books titles over the summer. When we return to school in the fall, they are going to have those teachers compete against them in a staff vs. students Battle of the Books competition. This is a great way to get our middle school community reading and talking about the same books! Now we just need the books available to make this happen.
