My Project

The Battle of the Books program is a PTA sponsored program. I am making every effort to see that my students read these 20 books so they can grow in their reading ability and comprehension skills. The LEGO kits will support STEM creativity and design experiences for the students. Dry erase markers are used by students to answer and model problems. They write down answers, and then hold up their whiteboards so I can immediately check if they comprehend the topic. Games will be used for inside recess days and provide controlled relaxation that involves mind growth. Also games can be used by early finishers of classroom work. The yoga ball will add to my collection that students can use for seating (this helps them focus better when they just can't settle down). Yoga balls are also used for Drums Alive where we drum to songs (it gives mind growth and relaxation breaks). All these items help to make the day full of learning - but the work is still fun and exciting.
