My Students

Think back to the one classroom that stands out in your memory. Does it stand out because of the teacher, the classroom, or a mixture of both? I believe that the most memorable classrooms have a mixture of a good teacher and a great classroom.

My Kindergarten students attend an urban charter school which is in its first year and lacking supplies.

My 17 students are eager to learn and enjoy every minute of their time here at school. I would love to supply them with as much enrichment as possible.

My Project

Studies show that there is a 30-million-word deficit in young students who come from high poverty areas. The bullying books as well as classic literature will not only build their vocabulary but will also teach them how to deal with bullying situations! The students will not only enjoy these fun books, but they will be creating life long skills that can change their lives. Any step to bridge this gap is a step in the right direction! Will you help?

Your donation would make it possible for my students to develop the skills necessary to succeed in reading and writing, not to mention to expand their horizons.

Your help will give each one of my students the chance for a solid foundation! These items will bring excitement to their learning and will give my students the experience they so desperately need!
