This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students with special needs deserve dignity and respect in all areas of the school, including the bathroom. Some of these students are not yet toilet trained and rely on adult diapers. Currently, our bathrooms lack the proper facilities for disposal of soiled diapers. To address this, we need to provide receptacles specifically designed for the disposal of soiled materials. Additionally, storage containers should be available to keep necessary supplies within reach such as sanitary wipes, gloves, female hygiene products, diapers, etc. Receptacles and storage containers will ensure that all students' needs are met with dignity and convenience.
