Help me give my students who live in over 80% poverty two Bass Bars to accompany the one Bass Xylophone donated by Donor’s Choose a couple of years ago! They deserve so much good!

My Project
I have the most appreciative and exciting students. Donor’s Choose has provided amazing experiences such as learning to play ukuleles and the one Bass Xylophone that was provided in recent year by your amazing organization. My little school added ten more ukes in order to complete a classroom set! When I tried to get a set of Orff Xylophones last Spring several of my parents donated. However, the price was too great for my little community. My school has provided World Drums, recorders, and various Classroom Rhythm Instruments during my 6 years on this campus.
My middle school and Special Needs students will benefit the most from the donation of the 2 Bass Bars to add to our one Bass Xylophone.
We also play a small set of xylophone bars, one metal xylophone, and various color-coded Boomwhackers and Handbells. My kiddos love to make music! They celebrate the opportunities that it class gives them to perform, to play, and to create music through voice, through play, through dance, and through the art of making music with musical instruments. Any and every contribution to the lives of my Little Lions will be greatly appreciated.
I entered into my 39th year of teaching students from Title One schools in the state of Arkansas. For most of those years, I received a $250.00 increment. Every year, I spent that and more for my Music programs of anywhere from 300 to 800 children. My over 13,000 students were well worth my monetary sacrifice. Your recognition of my amazing students will be treasured by a community that has seen so much struggle. You will create a world in which they feel “seen” and appreciated.
