My Project

I am excited to meet my class of 25, 2nd-graders! I want to build a community that is kind, and thoughtful, and that loves to learn together. In second grade we have the saying, "Practice makes better", and we are always practicing phonics, math facts, science, and phonemic awareness so that we can become better members of our community. Students work really hard each day with comprehension, phonics, and fluency as they read picture and beginning chapter books. They love to have hands-on experience with numbers and shapes as they focus on math standards.

I am requesting ink cartridges as we print off stories and pictures for our students.

Additionally, the colored baskets will help to organize our classroom library.
