Basketballs Have Grown Lumpy, Need to Go to Glue Factory

Help me give my students high grade Wilson Evolution basketballs to continue advancing necessary skills to be competitive on the basketball court.

My Project

My students come from a poor South Chicago neighborhood where simply having a basketball and hoop is typically enough for them. I feel that they deserve more! They deserve to have equipment in class that they can be proud of and will help them grow their skills to be the best athlete they can be.

Currently, we have a group of basketballs that are falling apart with the covers falling off and lumps forming on all balls.

They do not bounce or roll straight making it difficult to continue playing with them. I believe that new equipment will increase my students motivation and and make them feel that the school values them and their interests. This may give them a sense of pride in our programs.
