Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are in middle school and high school and are awesome athletes! Our student-athletes are special because they are some of the hardest workers you will find. They are passionate about teamwork and resilient athletes! I believe in each of them and teach them to give it their all in everything they do.

To say this, I would like to do the same and provide each of our basketball teams new basketballs!

My students make do with what we have, but they deserve to have more resources available to them.

My Project

We are high school basketball teams consisting of Freshman, JV, and Varsity. In order to improve as a team, we need to improve individually. To do that, we need basketballs to prepare for our upcoming basketball season. We currently don't have enough balls for everyone to have one at practice.

We've made great gains in our basketball program, and we feel more basketballs will help us continue to make those gains.

New basketballs for our basketball team will motivate each player to work so much harder because of the support that is behind the team.
