My Project

We are so excited to start our Lunar New Year as a Basketball Team! We love to play together and honor our school and families.

Celebrating the Lunar New Year together as we practice and train reinforces our strong multicultural bonds.

Our school day is rather long. Some of the players arrive at school as early as 7:00 am. They focus on academics, music, physical education, and other academic specials until 2:30 pm. Lunchtime is often spent at clubs or assisting younger students through our PALS program. Energy levels fall by the time basketball practice begins. The players will be particularly tired after long Lunar New Year Celebrations at home and in school. Healthy sweet and salty snacks are just what we need to celebrate the Year of the Snake together.
