Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This is our first year joining an official basketball league. Last year students practiced and developed their skills and now they are ready to compete.

These are hard working students from different backgrounds and have shown great dedication not only to the sport of basketball but also their grades.

This team is made up of boys and girls in 6th to 8th grade. Upon joining the team we have seen great improvements on grades and we hope to continue this school spirit at our school.

My Project

My students are joining the Middle School Basketball League for the first year. Last year we worked very hard to develop our basketball skills and we are now ready to compete. These items will allow us to complete and have the proper resources to play at a high level.

Last year students were bringing in their own basketballs to play but this year we need to get them some regulation game balls to play.

We have teams coming in from other schools so we also need a scoreboard and a scorebook.

This team is a great group of different kids who are passionate about the game.
