My Students

Do you remember when something was just out of your reach? When you could see what you wanted, but could not get it? Our students have an older gym with 2 hoops that are too high. The younger students have a hard time getting the balls that high and they get discouraged when they see others make it.

Our school is filled with great students and teachers who all want to succeed.

We live in a mid-western town and the kids really want to be active and play all types of different games. They students are so excited about playing new types of games but we are limited with our lack of equipment.

My Project

I am requesting basketball hoops for our gym so that the younger students have a chance to play games for their level. These hoops have brackets that get drilled into the wall that stay in place all the time. The basketball hoop can be removed if needed for assemblies and other games. If we need them in, we simply lift the hoop out of the bracket. It is very slick for games.

This project is important for our younger students so that can experience success in the many different games that we will play using those hoops.

But we need to be able to remove the hoops when we are not using them for the safety of others. We would place these hoops around 7-8 feet high against the wall.
