My Project

Within our district, we are doing more and more with basketball for our special needs students. Basketball is a great activity that everyone can find joy in and that is even easier when you are successful at it. Sometimes a standard hoop can be challenging for any student. These items will help ensure that students of all grade levels can be successful in basketball.

Since basketball is a lifetime sport, these skills will give our students the ability to recreate and exercise for a lifetime outside of school.

With balls that show proper hand placement and hoops at varying levels, students will be able to be more successful when playing basketball. The addition of pinnies will allow use to split into teams and practice full court games!

When students are able to find success, they are willing to be more engaged and learn. I can't wait to help my students become more successful in the game of basketball!
