Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project will give incoming transitional kindergarteners the basic supplies they need to succeed. The fine line markers will help them traces their names, letters, and numbers. The markers will be used for coloring.

The hot glue gun will be used for mini crises that happen often at school - broken shoes, necklaces, toys, etc.

These events can often cause many tears and it is hard to wait for traditional glue to dry when you are 4.

The bulletin supplies will display students birthdays and art, helping them feel a sense of ownership over their classroom.

98% of our students enter transitional kindergarten speaking only Spanish. These items will help give them many visual aids to help them learn. Thank you so much for your support!
