My Project

A basic essential need in every classroom on an almost daily basis is a printer. Many of my students benefit from visual supports consisting of definitions of words, charts, pictures, and vocabulary written for them or hung around the room. Helping me obtain some essential basic needs for the classroom, such as a printer, will allow my students to have more hands-on material that can benefit them on a daily basis. Furthermore, providing additional hands-on material is essential to helping my students learn. Teachers Pay Teachers is a fantastic resource that allows us, providers, to purchase activities that can be printed and implemented into speech sessions.

I love using these resources as I can help give back to other providers who created wonderful materials while using them with my students, who benefit from such individualized activities.

These materials can be specific to upcoming holidays and the interests of my students, which allows them to be more engaged in our speech sessions. Having both a printer and access to Teachers Pay Teachers will allow me to utilize more hands-on activities in daily sessions. Also, I can print activities for my students to take with them home in order to further practice their speech and language goals. Furthermore, basic reinforcement activities such as play-doh are simple yet versatile to use with a variety of students.
