My Students

My students, in our Title I school, come from very diverse cultural, ethnic, and socio-economic backgrounds. Many are 1st or 2nd generation US citizens. Although their needs and interests vary greatly, they all have one thing in common, a love for learning!

My Project

My students need basic classroom tools to start the new school year. A class set of student white boards will allow students to actively participate during whole-group lessons, as well as practice cursive.

It is highly motivating to write on white boards.

It is also much more environmentally friendly to not have a single use piece of paper for many different activities. Good quality materials will also last for years, as opposed to the dollar-store varieties that have to be replaced every year. This is an excellent lesson for students to learn!
