Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students live in one of the poorest congressional districts in the country.

The students I serve are struggling high schools students with an IEPs, who need an helping hand to bring them out of the gutter.

Students with disabilities who receive ICT services are educated with age-appropriate peers in the general education classroom. ICT provides access to the general education curriculum and specially designed instruction to meet students’ individual needs. In addition, I am a preparing them for Earth Science regents which requires rulers which we do not have enough. As a special education teacher, my students need all of the environmental factors to be just right so they can be engaged and active in their learning. With your help we can make that happen!

Through this project, I can provided differentiation support to give them the basic supplies and differentiate for each of my learners. By using a laminator and colorful paper can make the references readable, and visual appealing to students and helping them comprehend and engage with Earth Science material effectively.
