Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

kindergarten is one of the most amazing times of a child's life. It is a time for exploration and creativity. My students are full of amazing ideas and the desire to learn.

Students in this community come from low-income families; many families in this community go without the basic necessities.

I love that even with the needs they face, they are strong and full of capabilities, full of life, and full of ideas. I would like for my students to get all the materials they need in our classroom to provide a hands-on and engaging learning environment.

My Project

My wonderful Kindergarten students are coming In from being remote for an entire school. These items will help me in making my classroom rich with a variety of materials. Folders will be used to carry work to and from work, pocket charts will be used to our daily math lessons or ELA. stylus pens will be used with our classroom IPADS. Desk caddies and bins will be used to store pencils, markers and crayons to use during the day to complete work. We will use paper to write and draw responses to stories that we read such as shark lady!
