My Students

My students come from low income families in a Title 1 school. Effective Distance Learning was difficult for many of my students to end the 2019-2020 school year. With the upcoming year approaching, and an unknown for how much time will be spent in school or at home, I am hoping to get supplies needed for all my students no matter where they will be learning this year.

What my students and their families lack in ability to obtain all the supplies needed, they make up for in desire and determination to expand their knowledge and strengthen their skills.

For the health and safety of all students while in school, individual supplies are needed. I am also hoping to have a smaller version of individual supplies for students to keep at home.

My Project

I would like to ensure my students have the basic materials they need daily while in school or at home for the 2020-2021 school year. My students and their families come from low income households and do not have the ability to obtain basic supplies to support their education.

These supplies are needed to ensure all students have individual supplies to limit sharing during Covid-19.

The use of shared supplies and/or table supplies will not be permitted. My students have so many more things to worry about than supplies. I would like to help take that worry from them.
