My Students

I currently have 30 students in my special education (SPED) classes. My students are SPED students and have a love for technology, reading, math and science. They are very excited about learning and I want to make the class interactive. Due to time and lack of reliable technology, we are limited.

My students don't have access to technology or additional resources at home.

Many of our students are foster care students that don't have any technology. The students in my classroom are a diverse group of children who come from intricate family backgrounds. I teach at a low-income school, in a classroom full of eager learners who are enthusiastic about coming to school every day!

My Project

My students love learning. My students usually start the school year with no school supplies. I try to reach out to the community or local churches to help. This year we haven't been successful at all in getting these supplies.

This year my students really struggled bringing in the basics.

Each student will get glue and paper. These are the basics necessities to help my students continue learning this school year.

My students will be able to use the requested pencils, glue sticks, pens, folders, and additional supplies in each course that I teach. My students are intrigued with learning and I want to make sure that they have everything that they need.
