My Project

Every year, classrooms prepare for the upcoming school year by requesting essential supplies. However, the vital service providers (speech-language therapists, occupational and physical therapists, counselors, school psychologists, and ESL teachers) personally fund basic items essential to their sessions.

This project seeks to bridge that gap by providing these invaluable professionals with the supplies they need for their learning spaces.

Items like tissues and soap maintain hygiene. Paper towels, Lysol spray, and wipes assist in hands-on activities. Markers facilitate visual communication, and laminating sheets protect vital teaching tools for long-term use. In addition to these basic supplies, we are also requesting kinetic sand and new Play-Doh, which are essential tools for sensory and therapeutic activities. While these items are fundamental for hands-on learning and skill development, they require frequent replenishment as they can become contaminated with germs and lose their freshness over time. By ensuring these service providers are equipped, we ultimately support the approximately 150 students who rely on them for growth, development, and success throughout their school day.

Fully funding this project means creating an environment where all students—regardless of their needs—can access the tools and resources required to thrive.

Together, we can ensure every student receives the quality support they need to succeed, from the therapy room and beyond. Thank you for being part of this effort!
