My Project

My scholars work every day towards their individualized goals, which essentially works towards our class goals. Our goal is simple: to work hard and achieve grade-level mastery in math, reading, science, and social studies. While the goal is simple, the journey to reach these goals can be quite challenging. My students have various environmental challenges that hinder their success.

Remember that back-to-school feeling, when you had your new pencils and folders and felt ready to tackle a new school year?

My students come from high-poverty backgrounds and sometimes can't afford to buy their own pencils, folders, or markers. The cardstock will help with creating centers pieces for all subjects that can withstand little hands, as well as art projects. The start of a new school year can be very expensive for families. The page tabs will help students find sections in their notebooks a lot easier. The stickers will be used in various art projects. I believe that every child deserves to start a new school year with school supplies that are fresh and new. No child should be worried if their family can or cannot afford donations to the classroom.

With this donation, you will help ensure that every single student in my class will have what they need for the start of the school year. Kleenex, paper, and more - everything is covered. Thank you so much for making this possible for my amazing kindergartners!
