My Students

My students range from kindergarten to sixth grade and each and every one of them come to art class enthusiastic and excited about the art they are about to create. My students love to give their ideas for topics for art lessons or mediums they would like to try.

When passing in the hall students are so eager to find out what we will be doing next and love to stand and admire all the artwork that is on display.

My Project

These basic art supplies will enhance the rich classroom that I strive to create. The weaving supplies of yarn and plastic needles will enable my third graders to learn to weave on a loom- this is something they really want to try! Various colored construction paper will make my fourth graders' imaginative animal collages stand out with so many bright colors. Fifth graders will thrilled to add colored pastels to their artwork. More mediums equal more creative and colorful art! My art classroom is a place that my students really enjoy. Every art supply in my classroom is treated with respect and care, and the students are thankful for the opportunities to create art. All of these materials have been chosen with my students in mind. Students will be able to choose various mediums and use their creativity to explore new projects.

With these new basic art supplies, my students will have the opportunity to create more projects and practice using various mediums.

They will also be able to choose materials that interest them. The best way to increase creativity is to give students the opportunity to try new things and have various materials.
