Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My English Learners are special because they are resilient. They work past various forms of trauma while remaining highly motivated to learn and bringing positivity and humor to the classroom.

The materials requested will help make their lives easier when they stress over not having a pencil or paper to write on.

Pencils, paper and disinfecting wipes are basic materials our students are in need for every day.

Last, the organization bins will help my seven classes manage the high volume of paper we go through. It will help them be more independent in accessing the materials they need and it will also help them to stop losing or misplacing their work. It also helps me because my classroom is extremely low on storage options. As a new teacher, I am still developing a lot of new units and lessons that I need to maintain labeled an organized.
