My Students

My fifth graders live in a diverse neighborhood in Queens, NY. They are an active, creative, lively group of boys and girls. They love to be active and engaged in hands-on projects that allow them to work together and communicate with each other.

My classroom is full of learners that encompass many different learning styles.

I try to incorporate a variety of strategies that help meet student's needs, such as small group work, flexible seating, choice, and project/inquiry-based learning to motivate them. I look forward to each day with them and to see what new and exciting things we can do together. I am excited to try new things and help them discover a world outside the classroom.

My Project

These products will provide students with the supplies that will help support learning, provide visual stimulation, and allow them to be more productive.

The toner will allow them to have physical access to information they can print.

It will also allow them to type and print their published work for display.

The chart paper will allow me to provide anchor charts for students to reference throughout the day. The markers and colored paper will provide students with the tools they need to create visual presentations of their work. These items will give students the ability to create work they can be proud to display throughout the school building.
