My Students

As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, I see that my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to keep things simple and provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences.

This is the first year the students at my school have music class, so I am trying my best to make it a great experience for them.

I want music class to be the best part of my student's day!

My Project

I need basic supplies for my music students. My school does not provide me with any of the basics like pencils or tissues. Everything in my classroom has either been given to me from Donor's Choose, or has been purchased with my own money. I have gone through a lot of the supplies already and I cannot afford to keep buying these items myself.

My students need these supplies to further their learning in music class.

We need pencils and colored pencils to do worksheets and assignments. We need more white board markers because my students love working on their individual white boards. I would like a pack of chart paper so that I won't have to rewrite our rhythm patterns everyday. Lastly, I would love an electric pencil sharpener - it'll save me so much time!!
