Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are so eager to learn to read and write when they start 2nd grade. This grant will enable me to purchase new and innovative lesson ideas from Teachers Pay Teachers to supplement our curriculum. It will also provide pencil boxes, carts with drawers and binders to help us keep our plethora of learning tools well organized.

With a decrease in our budget for supplies for next year and the increase in the price of materials we were only able to purchase the most basic supplies with our school budget.

This grant provides added supplies to enrich learning! It will pay for things like oil pastels to enhance our integrated art lessons, aerogarden seeds pods so we can continue to grow food in the classroom, as well as binders for poetry and notebooks for writing across multiple subject areas. There are a few other basic supplies which it will cover like chart paper, chart markers, sharpies and more. Thanks to your generous support, my classroom will be well supplied and my second graders will be set to grow leaps and bounds!
