Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students are amazing kids who are eager to explore their school environment and community regardless of their disabilities and language impairments. Every day they come to school with positive attitudes. Many of them do not have the ability to communicate their wants and needs verbally. They depend on the use of picture symbols which are required to be printed in color ink for them to understand the symbols. They required these symbols to be visible and posted around the room on chart paper for easy reference. My students required easy access to books which required bookshelves for easy access. My students will be able to learn new vocabulary and expand their ability to communicate in complete sentences through the use of these resources, such as chart papers, colored pencils, notebooks, paper, bookshelves, and other basic supplies.
