Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many students at my school arrive on the first day without the necessary materials to be successful. This is due to a myriad of factors, most out of their control. The pandemic affected the families of my scholars more so than families in other neighborhoods, and as a neighborhood school, it has fallen on us to help provide what the families cannot.

Providing these basic supplies will help all of my students to succeed in all of their classes, allowing for equal footing for all scholars regardless of familial background.
