My Students

I teach fourth and fifth grade superstars in a Title I school in New York City. My students are eager to learn, energetic, and have a positive outlook on life and learning. I teach students with disabilities that range from learning to behavioral in a self-contained setting. In spite of their many deficits, they always have a positive attitude about getting to work and being stars. My students are hands-on, auditory, and visual learners that need resources readily available to meet them where they academically need.

My Project

Every year I try to use my funding to supply my students with their basic needs to be successful and organized during the school year. This year is different because we did not receive our usual funding due to the pandemic. I usually go above and beyond what the city funds us every year.

During these unprecedented times, many are experiencing economic difficulties.

It would be extremely helpful to me and my students if you are willing to help provide funding for their basic supplies such as notebooks, folders, pencils, and dry erase markers. This will help alleviate the cost to families and will allow me to spend money on different areas in my classroom.
