Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a Trust Counselor in a low-income/high-poverty school district, my students are faced with many challenges throughout their lives, which impact their school and home lives. The supplies that I am requesting will be used throughout our school on a daily basis to assist our needy youth. The personal hygiene items will be available on an as-needed basis in The Gardens Boutique. The Gardens Boutique is a place where all needy students can come to get school supplies, uniforms, shoes, and more

I want to continue to support my students by providing them with the opportunity to have basic school supplies and not feel embarrassed about their financial situation.

The lives of these students are difficult enough as it is. I want to make their school life as normal as possible.
