My Project

When you think about students who have a strong desire to be the best, think about my students. They are inspiring individuals who come from places that aren't always ideal in Youngstown, OH. Adversity is the foundation of the life they stand on, but they persevere.

Our students struggle with poverty, homelessness, employment, transportation, and language barriers but in spite of all of this, they show up to school.

The supplies that are being requested include organizational items for the classroom. All of these items will be used during interactive lessons or to benefit the students in the classroom and to help the students stay organized.

Ms. Sekol Horizon Science Academy - Youngstwn Grades PreK-2

Celebrate Black teachers and kids! This project supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of students are Black.

Equity Focus
