Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am lucky enough to teach 25 energetic little kindergarteners. Basic school supplies are always in high demand but are not funded for by the district. On top of that, I work at a Title I school with many families who work paycheck to paycheck simply trying to keep food on their tables. We are reluctant to ask for anything from our families as we do not want to put any extra strain on them.

If you have ever been around a five-year-old, you know they are little germ magnets.

Some of these supplies are to combat that and others are basic supplies I usually spend my own money to buy. Thank you for helping me keep essential items in stock in this classroom.
