This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach 25 of the hardest working 5th graders in a high need area of Bronx, New York.

Most of my students qualify for free or reduced rate lunch.

My students come to school everyday with eagerness and enthusiasm to learn. As their teacher I feel joy in the positive experiences that my students gain in my classroom. As we begin a new school year, please support my students with brand new classroom supplies for our classroom!

My Project

These resources will be used every day by my students. The folders will be used for their reading and writing work. The students will be able to learn organizational skills by having color coded folders.The pencils, colored pencils, scissors, glue sticks and dry erase markers are also essential to daily instruction. We will use the labels, command hooks and organizers to keep our materials handy, in an organized and neat way. The Colorx wipes will help us stay healthy and keep our classroom clean!

Giving the students basic supplies will ensure that all of the students in my class have an equal start and have the supplies and materials that they need to learn to the best of their abilities.

These materials will improve my classroom by giving the students the basic tools they need to complete their school assignments.
