My Students

Peter Diamandis wrote, "The goal of my work is to help assure that we can create a world of abundance in which we meet the basic needs of every man, woman and child." This has become my goal as the new year has begun.

My scholars are energetic, lively and love to use music and basic materials in the classroom to help them self-regulate.

Due to working in a low-income neighborhood, my scholars need more basic materials than most scholars across the U.S. My scholars have become frustrated with our materials breaking and running low. I am hoping that we can receive new materials that will help us keep our classroom running smoothly and allow them to feel like they are cared for.

My Project

These basic materials will enhance my scholars' work in every class. They will come prepared each and every day and will now be able to make projects and assignments look more colorful. All of these materials have been chosen so that they will be more confident while doing their work.

With these new materials and headphones (that finally work!), my scholars will be more relaxed and will want to complete more projects and assignments on time.

They will be able to choose which binder they will want to organize their materials in along with headphones of their choice. It is my hope that they will begin to not be as stressed when given assignments knowing that they will now have all of the materials they need to be successful.
