Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As educators, we want all students to be successful. Before learning can take place, students need to be prepared to learn. If students lack basic supplies, learning becomes challenging. Unfortunately, many students can't afford what many consider basic supplies. The stress of not having supplies makes learning difficult. I would like all of my students to have the materials needed to be successful high school students.

The basic supplies my students need include pencils, paper, binders, and index cards.

These supplies will allow all of my students to complete daily class work assignments, homework assignments, and projects. I have provided many of these supplies in September but want to ensure they have enough supplies to take them to the end of the school year. Students should focus their energy on learning, not worry about how to get basic school supplies.
