My Students

The students at our school thrive to learn. We are a New York State Title I school, which means a majority of the students that attend come from a poverty-stricken family. The parents of our students want the very best for their children and look for the support and guidance of our school and educators.

I want to support the students' eagerness to learn and therefore writing this proposal to support and enhance our thriving S.T.E.M.

Program. The S.T.E.M. includes Project Based Learning (PBL) and learning about and loving all living things. Students learn through engagement, exploration and hands-on discovery. Students have a unique opportunity to develop their knowledge, enable them to grow and learn through discovery.

My Project

I am a Science teacher in an elementary school teaching students that are learning in-person. As I went from class to class, so many students did not have the basic materials to learn with. Students did not have a notebook to use for Science, to record information, complete assignments, answer questions or write in. So many students did not even have notebooks to support English Language Arts and Mathematics.

This prompted me to request these general supplies.

I am asking for your support to fund my project to be able to provide students with notebooks to learn with. Notebooks are an essential part of learning throughout each subject area. Without these materials students will not have the ability to take note, answer questions, write responses, reference information . . . just to name a few. These notebooks will be distributed and benefit to all of the in-person students without these general supplies.
