This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are almost into 2025, and I am noticing that my classroom needs some organization. We've run out of a few supplies and would appreciate any help replenishing them. I would also like my students to learn to clean up after themselves and respect our classroom environment.

To enhance the flow of the classroom, these useful organization items will help us get back on a productive track.

I know students are curious and love to touch things. However, I have many science items and materials that do not fit in my closet. I'd like to use the storage cabinet/drawers to safeguard my supplies so that many students can use them in the future.

We also need to restock basic items such as highlighters and pens that my students use to annotate texts we read in class. Labels will keep us organized and help us hold onto our items. Accidents happen. Students often drop/spill things onto their desks or the floor, and these cleaning products will help students quickly clean up after themselves without disrupting the lesson. It will also help me reset and sanitize the classroom for the next period as we enter flu season. Students will be completing their own presentations, and I find that they enjoy using clickers.
