My Project
My students are hard-working, curious, and ready to learn. However, they are often missing basic supplies, such as pencils.
Most of the students in my classrooms come from disadvantaged backgrounds, and I feel that it is my responsibility to provide them with the basic supplies necessary for learning. Missing basic supplies should not keep any of my wonderful students back.
We need these supplies to take notes daily, but also to engage in fun science activities such as building straw rockets for which we need tape and straws. My students learn best when fully engaged in activities they find exciting.
