This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My third graders are amazing! I work in a Title I school, and not all of my students can afford basic supplies. These supplies are everyday things that all students need to stay engaged.

Basic school supplies are essential for the magic of learning to happen, such as chart tablets, copy paper, tissues, and markers.

I would love to be able to provide my students with the essential supplies to make our classroom and small group activities run smoothly. In order to carry out different projects we need to have different school tools like chart tablets and markers. It is important for me to be able to make learning fun (Connect 4 and dice games) and rigorous, and that requires having colorful markers. The basic supplies being requested in this project will help me provide students with the materials needed to do so.
