This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Your donation will give our baseball team the equipment it needs to have a successful season! Our South Bronx middle school baseball team is finally back on the field and ready to play ball after a 2 year, Covid forced hiatus! While I have been collecting gloves, bats, and other equipment, our team still needs several items to get through the season.

Baseball equipment is expensive!

Now that we are almost 2 months into our season, we are need of items like balls, wood bats, a catchers glove, and other equipment that has been worn out already.

The main goal of our school team is to support students with their academics and social emotional skills, while teaching them accountability and getting them prepared to play baseball at a higher level. We want our students to learn, grow, and have another avenue towards success in high school and college!
