This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our school is currently under construction, and the library has been moved temporarily to a smaller portable that is pretty far from our room. It's more important than ever that my students have access to good, diverse books in our classroom library.
The following titles are the most popular reads, and often times don't get returned because of the high interest topics and themes.
"They Both Die at the End" is one such book because of LBGTQ+ characters and an interesting concept; they do in fact die in the end. Some of the books are banned books. We need these back on the shelves.
More than half of students from low‑income households
