Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

What I love about my students is their focus and commitment to being exceptional leaders and displaying exceptional character. The students I teach are special because they understand the important role they play as arts advocates.

My students work hard everyday to become better people and musicians.

They attend a school where the arts curriculum is extended which helps them make greater strides in a short amount of time. Students work individually and in small ensembles to share their gift of music.

My Project

These materials will help band and orchestra students achieve great success this school year. The Personal Protective Equipment which includes instrument masks and bell covers will allow students to practice safely inside by limiting the spread of droplets in the music building. The scanner will help to digitize the music library thus making music much more accessible to students via a digital platform. The method books will assist students when practicing at home because they will be able to utilize the digital resources that the book offers. The reeds, strings, bows, cases and other essential supplies will help supplement the needs of music students when an issue arises.
