Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students will be taking part in random acts (baking) of kindness by gifting what they bake. We are creating a baking club where students and the community get to experience the world of creativity through cooking and baking! The items that are needed will show the students easier and safer ways to cook and bake wonderful goodies with the entire school community.

Acts of kindness can make the world a happier place for everyone.

The items needed will be used in the classroom on club days and will help them understand how to use these kitchen appliances and create bonds not just with their peers, but with their families. Baking will give our students the opportunity to learn skills such as hand-eye coordination, math skills, understanding instructions, fine motor skills and cause and effect. The Ninja oven will be used to bake quick breads like banana, pumpkin, or cornbread. They will also bake different types of cupcakes. The mixer will be used to mix all the ingredients. The blenders and juicer will be used to make delicious smoothies and juice. The Cuisinart ovens will be used to make healthy pizzas. Our entire school community will get the opportunity to eat what our students bake. With everything that's going on in the world, now is the time to help make a kinder society.
